La Quinta is quickly becoming known for its burgeoning art scene, particularly the La Quinta Arts Festival that was named the #1 Fine Arts Show by the prestigious Art Fair Sourcebook. The La Quinta Arts Festival, now in its third decade, is produced in partnership with the La Quinta Arts Foundation and the City of La Quinta, proceeds from which are reinvested into local arts programs and more. The Foundation also produces the well-known Art Under the Umbrellas series, which takes place in Old Town La Quinta on designated Saturdays.
